What handguards are y'all using?

I just installed the JFG Racing Motorcycle Universal Handguards Aluminum (via Amazon) this past weekend. With the windscreen in the full upright, I can full lock both directions with only the lightest touch to the righthand of the windscreen, no touch to the left or the panel. The handlebar wasn't moved.

After a horse loaded with bricks hit my hand I started looking for some myself. First got cheapos from a fb group ad that where all plastic and didnt really fit. then I remembered RE offers them also, so I ordered a pair. I have to say, they look sturdy, all steel in front, and the price is very nice too:

This is the set:

I continue to use the weights at the end of the handle bar, they are the same length as the plastic distance pieces provided in the set but should better minimise vibrations.

Were you able to install the BB hand guards in a way that avoids hitting the windscreen/display panel? If so, how'd you do it? I got mine on (windscreen is in full upright position), but they hit the windscreen on the right side and the display panel on the left side at full lock. I'm able to get full lock turning the forks to the right, but not to the left.
Sorry buddy, been caught up in life, ha! So I ended up just getting the Himalayan specific barkbusters, with storm handguards. I really like the look, and no issues with the windshield (in forward position).

I really did like the Acerbis more, though, but I didn't really wanna go the route of changing out the handlebars, getting a longer clutch cable, etc. Looked like an easy enough job, and not too expensive, but I like the bike as it is for now, didn't wanna change too much.

The VPS (in low) and Storm plastics are the same height. The VPS can be raised to provide more wind protection. I hate cold hands so I usually end up making a taller piece to replace and then screw it to the VPS.

These came with an "adjustable" plastic wind deflector. On the back there are 4 holes in a long box pattern. use the higher ones to raise the plastic piece up for more wind protection, or trees or large bugs or...... use the lower one, like I have and it sticks up over the hand protectors by an inch or so.
Not much wind blockage on this style, not like the Storms, but will protect your hands (and Levers) from falls/objects which is why i got them.

I definitely like the look of those more, but dig the wind protection of the storms. And I've already dropped it once after install, looked like it would've damaged the clutch lever, so worth it already, ha!

So are some of you just putting on plastic hand guards for wind protection or do all of these come with an aluminum bar that actually protect the brake and clutch levers? I want ones that will protect the levers and would appreciate knowing which ones fit the Himalayan best at the best price and where to get them..please.

So I went with the Bark Busters (There's the specific Himalayan set). It's just the aluminum bars, I think I paid $80, then bought the Bark Busters Storm guards for the wind, trees, etc.

Put on Acerbis plastic handguards to keep my hands out of the wind and rain during the winter. Worked well, after a forty minute ride to work in the mornings at temperatures around 0-5 C I could still feel my fingers. Won't do much in the way of protecting things when falling I'm afraid. Best not fall then.

So these fit into the bar ends and you can use the weights! Looks great! Is there any reason these wouldn't fit an Interceptor?
