Gravel Roads Resource

www.gravelmap.com is a resource I use to find gravel roads where I am planning on riding. If we can get more dual sport riders to use this resource, and populate it with roads / trails in their location we will all have a better planning tool for adventure riding. I've been populating it with all the roads I have found near me.
Almost a year later, but thanks for sharing this! My area has a ton of marked roads, so not sure I'll be able to add any, but I'll definitely be using this and adding what I can.

Hmm, I just tried the link and it appears to be dead. Sad if that resource is gone.
Bummer. I dislike when I put effort into a resource like that and then it goes away. I marked a lot of the roads I have found on that site. This has happened with forum sites as well. You build up all the knowledge base on a bike and then gone! Sad.

Damn, I hadn't even gotten around to using it yet. I saw a BUNCH of marked roads near me, but the weather has just been getting good lately. Ah well, guess I'll have to just discover them myself!

It started working for me the other day. I think my link went bad. https://gravelmap.com/#10/33.7485/-84.3871

I fixed it in my original post. I guess you can't just use 'www' anymore so I replaced it with https://

Nice maps but a LOT of gravel roads are not marked...........I'll mark a few as time permits.
That would be awesome! That website relies on users to mark gravel roads and update if they get paved over.

I actually had a politician show up at my property telling me he was planning to pave all the roads in the county. I looked him in the eye and said. "Well, you won't be getting my vote because I enjoy the gravel roads and water crossings we have in the county." 10 years later and we have lost one water crossing and a couple roads to progress.
