    650 International for sale

I have a 350 classic also and that is what I ride the most. I was looking for a 500 bullet when I got the 650. I really need about 50 pounds or more lighter and say 3 inches or more shorter. If the 350 had just a little more oomph, as it is it is too slow for traffic on the highways here.

    Aging: Not for Woosies.

I filled the wheel barrow tire with expanding foam 5 years ago and it is still up. At 36 I got mauled at work and told the boss no problems I'll be back to work by the week end. Now 40 years later I can't even bend over. I should have taken the offer of work man's comp. If I had only known!

It is not legal here and really irritates car drivers. Try it and you risk getting car doored or worse.

    Royal Enfield 650 belt drive

If what you call chippings is like what we call armour coat it had no effect on the belt drive on my Yamaha for the last10 years.

    "new" toy...

My 65 Bonneville was that same color. Loved that bike and rode it everywhere. Mine was a SAC bring back from England, ANF had the grabber rack on the tank. Wore the foot pegs down going on and off I80.

    A Sad Truth.

That is why I dropped down from a 800 pound cruiser to the 650 for a road bike. The 350 still gets more local use.

How to ride 500 miles per day cross country in the U.S. on a 650 Interceptor

I use to do 500 miles in 10 hours regularly on my R90 Beemer. Wife and I would go from Nebraska to Northern Minnesota monthly during the spring and summer. Never thought it was a big deal. The last trip on the 650 was just at 200 miles at between 70 and 75. With one stop for gas and rest...

    Am I the only one?

I could scrap most of the electronics on my 350 and never miss them. Electronic gas gauge and all. I would even dump the electric start for a good old kicker. Luckily at my age most of what is there should outlast me!

The local Wallyworld doesn't like me. Last time I wss there an employee directed me to self check out. I asked how to enter my employee discount....Do you work here? I do if I have to do my own check out!

    R.E. shirt etiquette?

Don't much care where the logo is, If it is free ill wear it but I never Pay to advertise someone's product. To me it would be like buying A shirt that said shop at Walmart. Just a cranky old man I guess.
