WHY?

2022 himmy here. I have had the same experience. My fix was to turn kill switch to on position before starting. Then turn the key on on 1st and then 2nd turn kill switch to off while key is on position and I hear fuel pump whirl every time, then start.

Also helps to have it in netural.

I have a 2022 Himalayan and when the flashing low fuel indicator comes on I have only been able to add 2.6-2.7 gallons to top it off. This is all the time. seams that It is way off for a 4+ gallon Tank?

Your description worked for me however, I had to face the rear of the bike keeping my right foot on the pad. It was then quite easy. Thanks

Purchased 2022 Himalayan in June. Been reading post about uneven idle and some lurching while driving. With 190 miles have had the same problem. I pulled the spark plug connector up as far as it would go without removing or lifting the tank, then pushed it back down to the click.
