    What Did You BUY Today?

I'd love to see how your blades turn out when completed. I haven't used s30v before, but I've read it can be a hassle to get a clean edge

    What Did You BUY Today?

I've been planning a forge for a while. Haven't made the effort yet, but maybe later this year. For being a "simple" steel, I'm a fan of 1095

    Pets

The only picture we have of all our pups, for obvious reasons. Getting 7 to stay put is tough. I love hearing them go crazy when I pull into the yard on the bike. They don't do it as much when I have the car, but absolute hysterics with the bike. We've got 2 female red heelers but are getting...

    What Did You BUY Today?

I looked into getting a saree guard when I got my classic. I like the look but decided not to go that direction as I didn't want to add any unnecessary weight

    Scrambler 650

My local shop has 3 coming in the next week or so. I'm excited to see them in person. They look great

    The Gloves Thread

I think the bike could handle additional accessories, but I've been trying to hold out for some reason. I've ridden down to as low as 24° F, but it was not fun at all. Anything below 40 has been tough on my fingers. Everything else has been fine, just the fingers. I'll probably throw on a set of...

We'll see how it goes. I'll keep it near the door, just in case a good day arrives. If the winter keeps me away, it'll give me more time to work on my newest ride; a 1972 CB750. I'm looking forward to turning some wrenches this winter.

Another trip around the sun is definitely worthy of such indulgence. I'm surprised I'm still commuting this far into the year myself. I knew I'd like motor scooting, but didn't realize it would be this much. It's been so damn fun riding. To appease my wife, I drew a line at snow on the...

I've got my heart set on a pair of those in the navy blue. But the wife said no for now. I look forward to hearing how your fair over the winter. Rumor has it, we may be getting some snow this weekend

    The Gloves Thread

Those indie ridge gloves look real nice. Nice enough where I may have to add to my glove collection. I've looked into Churchills but wasn't able to justify them for the few times I'd need them, yet. I picked up a cheap set of deerskin gloves from Amazon that have surprisingly been warm at the...

    The Gloves Thread

I will have to look into those gloves. Heated gloves will more than likely be my solution. I've considered a hand guard, like barkbusters but have talked with folks at my work and they've all mentioned how they never seem to block enough of the wind. I may have to learn that lesson myself at...

    The Gloves Thread

I may break down and get a pair of heated gloves, but are there gloves that would keep digits warm with temps ~25°F/-4°C? I've got a 30 minute commute and the 7am temps leave my fingers practically useless after 10 minutes.

An old Harley guy said to me...

Heal up well. Glad to hear it wasn't worse. Ribs injuries are not fun. Moving hurts, coughing hurts, breathing hurts, thinking about breathing hurts.

Why did you choose your >insert bike here<

2023 Classic Halcyon Green Looking for a first bike to help with gas. Wife said I couldn't get a sport bike and I'm not a fan of the whole Harley thing and realized a klr650 was too tall. My co-worker mentioned a RE shop has just opened up nearby. Conveniently, it's on my way home. Stopped in...

    Helmet noise

I use one of those helmet skirts and they do cut down a lot of the noise, but there is still a bit of wind noise that makes it thru. I tried foam ear plugs and didn't like them, so the skirt was a good solution for me.
