What have you done to your Himalayan today (or yesterday, or this week ...)

Try Aliexpress, my coworkers use that all the time for Chinese stuff like that ... also there's more and more places selling new stuff on Wallapop and Milanuncios. if you can be bothered to sift through the shit to find it.

What have you done to your Classic today

Yeah, Kawasaki were always the "cheap and cheerful" marque of the Japanese big 4. Lovely bikes, but not durable (see: the 500 twin engine in the GPZ/EX etc that used to chew the cams through the head material sometimes, for example)

Hunter 350 front spring dust cover

They absolutely were made to reduce the unsprung weight ... whether that makes a worthwhile difference on any non-competition bike is another matter entirely! On an RE which has heavy wheels and a chunky front tyre I think it's for looks ...

Hunter 350 front spring dust cover

Spring housing? Do you mean the stanchions? The Hunter has normal forks but I've had both normal and USD forks. My preference is for normal ones. The picture I put in my first reply is for dust seals (keep the dust out), then there's oil seals that sit under those (keep the oil in) ... if...

    What Cheeses Me Off.

Yeah, under a cover and in a sensible place you can leave a bike outside in most parts of the world for a couple of years and then re-commission it without things being too horrible ... 5+ years outside with no protection and it's a lot of work, if at all possible.

Hunter 350 front spring dust cover

I don't think I've ever had gaiters on a road bike, or ever had problems with pitting and rust even when riding on salted roads. Quite a few of my dirt bikes haven't had them either, and even enduro and MX bikes don't have them these days. That being said, I've never lived near the seaside...
