    MotoGP 2024

Sort of a yawner for the start of the season. Hate to see tire management so quickly, but its Qatar and its hot, so understandable. My money is on JM89 or AE41 this year. Will be interesting to see how Acosta does as well. Not a huge MM93 fan, so I wouldnt mind to see him struggle :)

    How is your forum speed?

As many of you know, the forum has been very slow for many users over the past years. I've attempted to resolve the issue on many occasions and have upgraded the server considerably, but it stil seems to be an issue for many. My latest troubleshooting seems to be leaning towards browser...

Long shot.... Anyone know of a dealer with cylinder head assemblies in stock?

I ordered 2 cylinder head assemblies from my local dealer and paid the $165 each for them. After 5 months of waiting, they arrived but they wanted double the price because they said there had been a price hike. Soooooooo..... I'm looking for 2 heads from dealers that might have them in stock...

Himalayan rough running & stalling when on the gas

One of my 2019 Himalayan rentals went out with a renter a few days ago but she returned it a half hour later saying it wasn't running properly. Engine quits while riding. I checked the battery terminals, pulled the relays & cleaned off the grease from the factory, but the same symptoms...

I'm selling my MC rental business: Rocky Mountain Motos in Red Lodge, Montana

I've truly enjoyed meeting riders from all over the world who've travelled to Red Lodge, Montana to ride my bikes. Its been a truly lovely experience. With that in mind, I'm offering everything up at what I think is a fair price. The new owner would naturally want to be somewhere in the Rocky...

Any UK/Euro types want to help with spam assassination?

I've noticed that there are 1-2 keto gummie spam postings getting thru the gates and posting each day around 1AM-2AM east coast USA time. Would be awesome if I had a couple people in Europe who visit the forum every morning to nuke these guys. Its a simple sequence of mouse clicks that takes...

Moderator/Not Moderator needed to help Jerk and Eatmore Mudd fight the spammers

If you've been around here a bit and plan on sticking around, and visit the forum at least every day, we sure could use your help in fighting the spammers that seem to be getting real busy here lately. Everyone is being well-behaved, so really no other mod duties are required. Its a simple 3-4...

    Repeated stalling, now won't start

My Himalayan nightmares continue. This is now the 4th Himalayan in my fleet of 6 that has stranded renters. Today was 6 hours of driving, $150 in fuel to rescue them. BTW, all of my Himalayans have had stock inner tube failures with low miles. I'm slowly changing them all out. 2019 Himalayan...

    I have a smoker

One of the Himmas is smoking heavily (6,000 miles). Its out of warranty, so I think I'm going to tackle this myself. Not much of a mechanic, but I have rebuilt my two stroke racers in the past. For those that have had the engine apart, what am I looking at here? Head assembly and gasket...

Mexico, The Gift That Keeps Giving

Was cruising around the subforums doing some cleanup and came across the Crash forum. Since I'm still limping around from my crash, thought I may as well add it here :) Last Thanksgiving weekend (2021) a group of 6 of us were down in Baja on the 2nd day of a 9 day trip. I did 5 weeks riding in...

Need to come up with a cheat sheet for troubleshooting all the common problems.... help needed!

I'm starting to get pretty nervous about the upcoming rental season and the fact that all my 2019 rental bikes now have around 5K miles on them. Thought it would be a good idea to come up with a cheat sheet that I can laminate to put on each bike in case renters are stranded somewhere remote and...

Thought I would post it here since this is the busiest sub-forum... Honestly, I'm not around much, so I am a little out of touch with what's going on here in general. Comments? Complaints? Improvements? Any need for more moderation? (Its just me these days) Any and all feedback welcome...
