    I usually get the wife to sit on the bike off the stand while I check the chain, she ain't as heavy as me but near enough.

    Defo a new chain, just a thought but are you checking after the adjustment off the stand & with you sitting on the bike, chain would wear quicker if the adjustment is a little too tight, (not trying to teach you how to suck eggs), just a suggestion (y)
