2018 Himalayan aftermarket clutch lever question

Hi RE colleagues,
I’ve just purchased myself an unregistered 2018 Himalayan, got the RWC took it for a spin day 1….whilst I am 53 and have riding continuously for the past 35 years), I forgot that I was not an 18-year-old and lost it on gravel (that’ll teach me).
Amongst other things I bent the clutch lever, it is curved but usable…and therefore I have 2 questions:
Q1: I am booked in to Vic Roads to give my RWC certificate, have it “inspected” (I think they just check VIN?) in 2 days…so does anyone know if a bent clutch lever makes the bike unroadworthy?
Q2: Does anyone know if there are readily available aftermarket clutch levers, and if so any recommendations?
Thank you all in advance!
Cheers B

Hi Dool2,
That is very nice of you and appreciated! But it would be ‘not cool’ of me to accept your spare, when I can buy one - so thank you again. I am interested, do you use original levers or aftermarket? Cheers

Himalayan shares the same levers as 2017 and up Continental GT 535 single cylinder.

After market and eBay we use type K25 clutch lever same as used on Ninja 250/300 etc. and we use type DK12 brake lever same as on KTM Duke 390 etc. They're available from hundreds of internet vendors. Or poach some stock levers from the breakers aka motorcycle wrecking yard.

I quickly bent my 2019 brake lever into a curly-q shape when I started. I was surprised to be able to bend it back to very close without much trouble. I initially thought it was cracked from the bending, but it was actually a clear protective coating which was on it. They are not that pricey if you want to go back stock either, eBay will have them in silver and black. There are many of options from cheepo to primo these days. Warp9 racing on the high end, amazon will have inexpensive ones (I've had bad luck with the anodizing), and Hitchcocks Motorcycles of course. The levers did change so the year will be important.
