Hi would anybody know where to get a 2022 classic 350 Reborn heel and toe gear shift .. I have looked on ebay and every other site I can find and can only see levers to suit the earlier classic 350 and 500..i know they will not fit and apparently the Meteor wont fit either......Thanks in advance Ken.

Hi Ken, Like you, I've been looking for a heel and toe shifter, and have emailed several eBay sellers in India with no success . However I contacted Hitchcocks and they said they've had several enquiries , and will be ordering some, but it would probably be later in the summer before they arrive. My first ride was a nightmare! couldn't get my boot under the shifter, I'd not ridden a bike for 20 years, and was nervous enough without that! Anyway, I moved the lever up a click, and it's fine now. I will give the heel and toe shifter a go though when they're available, I had a test ride on a Meteor last summer and that seemed OK, So So glad I waited for the Classic 350 though!
best wishes...Pete

Thanks Pete, my Halycon Black is due for delivery to my door this week..👍 I experienced a similar problem when I went for the test ride.. very unnerving ..it's good to hear that moving the lever up a click works well. I am still trying to get the Heel and Toe lever from India and i will put a post up here if I succeed...here's a pic just to whet the appetite 😋20220416_182754.jpg

Hi Ken, you’ll love the new bike, and adjusting the lever makes a heck of a difference, It’s a bit of a fiddle, as the foot peg prevents it coming off, so you need to loosen the large bolt on the front of the frame, and remove the smaller one just behind the foot peg. Then pressing down gently on the peg allows the lever to come off and rotate. There are some excellent youtube videos showing this on “ Ride with Warro” a fellow countryman of yours. Enjoy the new bike(y)

Thanks Cobbler, unfortunately that one does not fit the Classic Reborn..and Thanks Pete good to hear the shift is a lot better up a notch...I viewed Warros.video....the bike shop is going to sort the lever before the bike is delivered this week...could have done it myself but they kindly offered ...yeah feels like a long wait but it's only few weeks....have not seen the Halycon Black in the flesh..but I know it will be beautiful ...I think I have seen every YouTube video on the 350 ..been watching them adnausium ..feel like I know the bike intimately...Cheers. Ps i am still getting a few bites on the heel and toe shifter from India..maybe i won't need it ..we'll see.

Glad you got it sorted, the gearbox is very smooth, butI keep going to change into 5th, only to find I'm already in 5th! Still limiting my top speed to 45mph for the initial running in period. I'm very rusty though, having not been on a motorcycle for 20 years!. Enjoy the new ride

Hi Ken, don't know if you're still thinking of changing the shifter, I've just bought one on eBay from India ( my left knee and leg kills me and hoping less ankle movement will help) It certainly looks and is described as the genuine part, here's the link if you're interested
My bike's in for first service this week, just as well. the Engine management light came on today and won't go off, hoping it's just because it's gone slightly over the 300 miles, though the "spanner" has been flashing since about 280 miles Anyway, sure they'll sort it out. Hope you're enjoying the bike. Best wishes///Pete

Thanks for that Pete may be handy...i moved the lever up a notch after failing to get a heel and toe from India and it feels ok for the moment ...see how it goes... ordered a side stand extension plate....doesn't like soft ground....looking to get a shocky upgrade ...the existing ones are a bit hard on my old back although i have heard they get softer after about 1000 miles ..but i cant wait that long as the roads around here are a bit rough especially the back roads where i like to go for a relaxing cruise... Regarding the light on your bike ....very likely that light came on at 280 miles just to give you fair warning that a service is coming up.... . My bike had a flashing light ,speedo stopped ,abs light was on ...was a single plug not clipped in properly in the headlight..... and Yes i am enjoying my bike ,have travelled just over 200klms and am really impressed with the quality of the Reborn and the motor is just so sweet compared to my Suzuki TU 250,RE really got it right with this bike.(y)(y) Take Care Ken.

Hi Ken, glad you're enjoying the bike, (who wouldn't!) I find the shocks fine, but only ride on smooth tarmac.
I went to see the dealers today, and they said lots of Meteors have had a problem with the engine management light, There's a re-map available for them, which they do, but apparently the remap for the 350 is on the way, but not here (in the UK) yet. I'll let you know how I get on with the shifter, I expect it will take a few weeks to arrive. All the best..Pete

Hi Pete, good to know that the management light is not going to be a big issue... I had the rear shocks dismantled today by a well regarded specialist and he took all the specifications and has passed them on to IKON Suspensions....used to be Koni i believe.... they are going to custom make shock absorbers for me ... these are the first one's they have made for the Classic 350 Reborn and they will be using them as a template for future orders..... I thought I put a pic of my bike on this thread, but anyway here it is again20220509_133055.jpg

The new shifter arrived from India today, Took 2 days for the 7,000Km from New Delhi to the UK, then a further 4 days for the 70Km from Derby to Sheffield!
Anyway will fit it later on, It didn't come with a securing bolt, but I'm presuming/hoping that it's the same size as the original one

Looks good Pete ...let me know how you like it.....just ordered a low rider seat from the Enfield Dealer in OZ....$179 delivered ...so between the seat and the new shockies it should give a very different feel to the Reborn.Fitted the stand extension plate to it today...ground is absolutely saturated here at the moment ..had major flood...so good timing for the stand plate.👍👍

Hi Ken, Not seen a stand plate for the classic, I knew they did one for the Himalayan, I use a plastic one placed under the foot, but don't venture far off the tarmac,

Well, I fitted the heal and toe shifter earlier, I did a screenshot of a bike from the RE website, and put it in the same position, which was the same height as the original position of the standard lever (31.5cm from the ground when on the centre stand compared with the preferred one click up position which is 34cm ) Absolutely hated it! kept accidentally changing gear with my heal, just didn't feel comfortable at all, maybe it would have been better tilted up a click so the heal didn't rest on the lever. Anyway, couldn't wait to get home and put the standard one back on.

Wonder if you're going to put the springs on the new seat, I'm toying with the idea of the Touring seat, which is about 10mm higher (according to Warro ) probably go for the springs too even if they're just for decoration. I can get those parts locally, My local dealer who is great, is only 3 miles away. Have fun, catch you later😎

Hi Pete ...glad i didn't get the heel n toe...after hearing of your experience..... I have fitted the crash bars ,the IKON shocks, and the stand extender and i have a low rider seat coming...not sure how that will go ...looking to lower the seat a little for easier mount an dismount.....hopefully not sacrificing comfort... speaking of comfort the IKON shocks have made a world of difference.... I have included the name of the eBay site I purchased the extender from in the attachment .. delivery time was supposed to be a month but it came in about 8 days ...very goodScreenshot_20220518-120702_Chrome.jpg service .....Cheers Ken
