A bit of advice please

So on my new to me interceptor I have recently fitted powerage exhausts and a Statos performance air filter and shroud. A Facebook group has suggested that this will make the bike run too lean and the throttle pick up will lag, and that I would 'need' a blue in to fool the ECU into running richer.

Opinions and advice is very welcomed please

I was told the same and, just in case, chose to install a Power X Lite. I have no evidence to offer - but the bike runs well and I'm still getting 75-80 mpg. Same set up as yours. Actual evidence, rather than opinion, is thin on the ground.

Complete ribbish, the fuel injection will adjust the air/fuel ratio based of feedback from the lambda sensors on the head pipes.

Your new pipes still use the sensors right?

That was my thoughts to be fair, yup, headers not changed only slip ones added.

I did fit Stratos headers, airfilter and Powerage Shorties - hence keeping the DB killer in.

For a while I ran stock head pipes, AEW TE101 mufflers, DNA filter, Hitchcock's air filter ring, and a booster plug. I ran it that way for about 1-1/2 riding seasons, the later 1/2 with the baffles removed.
It was a fun setup but I swapped to a Tec Stinger and apart from thinking about a different sounding baffle I think I'm happy.
