Unless I am wrong, ABS might be an issue when the bike is stuck and the rear wheel will spin. Is it (easily) possible to disable ABS? If yes, how?

That depends on which model you have. The models with the tripper have the ability ti disable ABS on the rear wheel. If you have an older model you can always pull the fuse to turn off ABS completely.

2018 model - no ABS off switch. That only came in on bikes built from Oct 2021.
Not sure where the bike is stuck in your hypothetical question ? Dirt / mud ?
Besides ABS does not make the wheel spin !

Maybe you are confusing Anti Lock Baking with Traction Control ,
Bikes which have both have the same sensors ring and senders on the wheels, but a bit more circuitry.
I bought a BMW f650 GS and the vendor told me the ABS was disabled. Had the bike four years and it seemed like it, never felt it come on, back or front.
Then I hit a pool of oil on a garage fourcourt, and discovered that it was still fully operational!
So I wouldn't worry about switching it off, you will never know it is working anyway.
Until the day you need it!

Hello DZR , If by chance you have a early Himmy without the ABS cut of switch you can install a switch between the ABS pump and the fuse.

I believe the ABS version was only launched in India in September 2018 and internationally only mid 2019, so it’s likely you don’t even have ABS on your 2018 bike. Not that ABS makes a difference when the bike is stuck in mud.
