The Ace Airbox Kit for the GT 535 includes a new airbox cover which replaces the standard airbox cover, and allows a performance air filter to be located outboard of the main airbox. This increases airbox volume, and reduces restrictions present in the stock airbox/filter. It also allows a tuned velocity stack to be installed in the airbox, since the filter element is moved outboard.
The system is very easily installed in a few minutes just like putting on the stock cover. It all fits under the side cover without any modification.
Replacement filters are inexpensive and available at most auto parts stores.
