AVON HANDLEBAR FAIRING experiences?

As I'm more keen to invest in comfort vs performance I am wondering how we deal with fairings.
On several reviews about the OEM windscreen I'm not very confident about wind buffetting tough it seems to show wind protection on the chest aera.

But how about the classic Avon Handlebar windscreen available at Hitchcock?
I have been searching for other classic touring fairings but they seem to be extinct...

Frame mounted fairings are much safer.

Been reading about classic frame mounted fairings as well, but they seem to be quite scary too:

Has anyone any experience of riding with Norton interplod fairing? I assume they are they same as an Avon dolphin fairing? I'm getting to the stage where I think I'm going to have to retreat behind a fairing to be able to do any distance I'd like a fairing that would suit the early 70s style...

Not too sure about this Avon version being very bad... the snout shows a very rounded surface in side view to battle side gusts.
I'm impressed on the 56182km that RE ODO shows wondering if it's really that bad?

Guess one only knows when to drive one...

But the stock RE Classic350Reborn windshield seems a hit or miss too on several reviews... And it's very generic by design IMO.
