£102.53, against £246+.
You can see why they want to quash it....

And that sticker doesn't say it's not compatible. It says that it won't be warrantied.

They can't stop people from buying them in India and sending them O/S.
You gotta understand their perspective, "you didn't buy it from me so why should I help"
They can pretend that O2 sensors work differently in different countries because they know how to handle "customer relations"
But buy from PT and the back up is First class you would think it was the Merc dealer!

Instructions ? how complicated was it! like it plugs in the O2 sensor loom, only goes one way.
Sell something on ebay and see for yourself how much they take from us.
I have bought a few Fuelx from india with no problem and at a Discount although not from ebay.
On another Thread the discussion is about dodgy dealers, there are some dodgy buyers also.
I sold a BB kit on ebay the customer threw the Rings out with the packaging, and demanded a refund, two side to every story.
"Instructions" are more than just how to plug it in. I already had that with good visuals from Tiger Ness and Coastrider. There is other info about the unit that could be included. Don't know what might be missing to me unless I see a copy of the full info sheet. That is what I messaged PT for & then found out the India Fuelx version is different than the ones for the rest of the world. Why would PT go through the extra expense and distribution when it would be in their best interest to have just one model if that was feasbile There has to be a reason. Why would PT be trying to get the 5 "royal" sellers yanked off of selling these outside of India??
Could there be a big difference? I ain't no engineer & I ain't no engineer's son. If you had the option to click on India only or international version which button would you push?

I want to contact Race Dynamics again as I haven't heard back from them and of course Mr Nuts is remaining silent. Paypal is investigating the situation. Waiting to hear from them. EbAy is holding off as PayPal is working with them. The game's afoot.
Mine was £102.53 delivered and including Vat which is sorted on ebay when the item gets added to the basket, initial price was £85.44, no surcharges from customs etc as below the threshold.

The fitting instructions now have a disclaimer, at least i dont recall seeing that when looking last week, here's the link, dont know how to cut and copy from a pdf sorry.
Where did you order from? Ebay seller in India? Hitchcock's? Other seller? Curious as even in pounds, sounds even less than I paid in dollars.

BTW, from Race Dynamics very full & thorough instructions comes the following:

"
The blinking of the Green LEDs during the idling of the engine indicates that the FuelX is working in sync with the OEM ECU.
The working of both Green and Red LEDs indicates the FuelX Functioning as intended."

When I started mine up, there were only red lights showing. No green lights came on. With an instruction sheet, that would have been a red flag (or red light!) straight off. Plugging the FuelX into the bike was fool proof. That is why things are actually complicated. The seller opened the box under the guise of "checking to be sure that everything was in there" but really was pulling the instruction sheet with the warning (see attachment) and he likely pulled the yellow label off the unit if it was on it. Maybe those labels came later but either way Mr Nuts knowingly sold a unit to the US tha was not to be shipped there.

Yep from ebay India and the seller was royal-rider, would'nt suprise me if all the royal sellers were one company, the price does fluctuate from day to day a little though.

So, here is some knowledge for everyone in this thread. The Exported Classic 350 is the same as the Indian market Classic 350 ( except for the speedo). That's why our bikes are speed limited, India speed limit. The Fuel-X system modifies the O2 sensor signal, that's pretty much it. I myself have purchased from the same seller multiple times with no issues, I have no dog in this fight, just dropping some knowledge. Cheers!

Righto, struggling a little fitting my fuelx, it came with type 1 and type 2 fttings on the loom, mine will use type 1, although the pin arrangement seems correct there not plug and play as in like for like connections, but image 18 of the instruction pdf shows the same plugs fitted.

My main issue is the Fuelx female plug fitting the male plug from the ECU, it has a retaing clip on the female connector which is to large for the collar on the male ECU plug, image 18 shows it fitted but have they removed the collar from the male side i wonder !? The Fuelx male connector to O2 sensor male fits but again not oem fitment.

The connectors look the same as instruction pictures ?

FemaleFuelx.jpg

OEM female and Fuelx side by side
FemalebothFuelx.jpg

And the Male Fuelx to O2 sensor in-situMale-InsertFuelx.jpg

Can anyone that's fitted to an E4 comment please, where your connectors the same as OEM fitment or the same as mine, if the same as mine how did you manage to fit the Fuelx female.... dont know if it requires a little bodging perhaps !!?

Of course it could turn out i'm a lemon and fit in the wrong place, oder

Hello my friends. I own 3 Royal Enfields. 2022 650 Intercepter, 2023 Himalayan 411 and 2023 Classic 350.
I have FuelX lite in all 3. Here is my findings:
The 650, fuelX smoothed out the entire engine and gave easier top end speed. Speed is there with twist of the throttle.
The Classic 350, the fuelX took away some of the engine noise. The throttle is more responsive and gets up to 65-70 much faster and rides with ease.
The Himalayan 411, seems like the engine is running easier and like the 350, gets up to 65-70 much easier and I can stay at them speeds and the engine doesn’t feel like it’s struggling.
Now, I also have changed the exhaust and air intake covers to a wide opening cover. No DNA type filters, all OEM.
Doing the fuelX does improve in my opinion.
It does not make a 350 a 650. But, it smooths out the entire feel and ride.
I bought all my fuelX from Race Dynamics in India. 7-10 days for delivery. All my FuelX came with stickers, key chain and instructions.
Hope this helps!

Having read through the thread, the "official" e-Bay seller no longer exists. The unit is about $160 at Hitchcocks with another $30 or so to ship it from England to New England. Not cheap, so it goes on my "someday" list.

I cant see the Stickers :)
Race Dynamics went out of their to help me when I had problems, definitely think it is worth buying from them.
A quick shifter I bought from them arrived in peices ( rough treatment), they quickly sent a replacement and were happy to let me keep the switch that survived, it made a good ABS switch!
When I first installed their Powertronic ECU, I managed to dislodge a relay connection, bike stalled when gears engaged.
I contacted them via email, within a couple of hours they were ringing me and allocated me a Guy who download the chat program I was using.
Needless to say problem was solved ;)

Is this product expensive? I’m from the UK? Great pics BTW, just picked up my new Himmy 450 yesterday, so still running it in, and feel a few vibrations, would this product help to smooth this out?

I’m in the US so, my cost with delivery was $190 for the FuelX lite. I have found that it does smooth out some of the noises and acceleration. So for me, it’s worth it if you wanna get the most these little engines have to offer.
thank you all for the 👍🏻 on the photos! I love Royal Enfield. Best bike for the $.
