Thanks man !

Edit:
Aw crap, they don't ship to over here. No sweat now that I know what I'm looking for should be able to find them somewhere.
The beauty of these Polish canvas bags are the numerous anchor points. I'm sure you'll find a similar item in the US in a military store. Once waxed they keep pretty dry internally. Any items I want to keep bone dry I'll put in cheap dry bags.

Depending on the wax you use: Melt the re proofing wax, warm the item an brush it in, touch up the cool spots with a hair drier in. Leave the item and the wax in the noonday sun, rub it in and put it back in the sun. The hood of your truck in the noonday sun is a good one.

Brush them down with Canvac and hang them in your garage to air out for a day or three.

In the UK there's probably a 101 ways to do it and fifty different waxes. They invented waxed cotton canvas and never quit using it so they'd be the SMEs on the subject.

The

solution is to buy a whole set of Lomo gear. The shipping cost for one item is much the same as for three items.
That's what I did, I ordered 3 sets of Lomo bags and the shipping was the same price as for one. Get some buddies to buy a set and split the shipping cost. The shipping was the same price as the bags! My Son and I have used the Lomo bags and they are a great value. Have held up well so far.

I have just bought a pair of roll top cycling panniers from a local Lidl here in Spain. The were 12.99 Euros for the pair. I have had to make some mods to the mountings to fit them on to the Himalayan. So far so good I will let you know how they perform. If anyone wants pictures of them and pictures of how i modified them let me know.
