Hello,
I am replacing the downpipe on my bullet 350,my query is ,
should there be a sealing ring/gasket on the pipe joint with the engine block?

Yes, that's what I meant to say.
Because nothing was there when I dismantled it.
And it was leaking a bit before.

No gasket or ring. The pipe to head joint is a friction fit/seal. Not all combinations of pipes and heads seal completely. Exhaust paste on the pipe before driving it into the head works for me on the pre unit bullets.
