Excellent information from someone who's walks the walk. Thank you!Hello 2LZ,
I own a 2007 LB Bullet 500 and a 2010 UCE Bullet 500. I also own a 2017 Continental 535 GT and a 2018 Pegasus 500, that's built of of a Classic 500 frame but very close to the Bullet. If you just want to ride it get a 2018 or up. They have front and back disc brakes and the build quality is much better, really! They are faster and have a little more power. That being said I love the character of the 2007 and the 2010. But if you want the true Royal Enfield single thump sound a east Indian told me you need to get a 1975 or under 350 Bullet and that my friend is pure music!
There was a upgrade ignition for the LB Bullet 500, if you need one I have two in storage.
I hope this helps.
One of the reasons I'm looking for an older Bullet is I love the look of the LB is the classic look of the motor. It would fill out the herd parked next to my Model G. My daily riders are the Scram and Interceptor. The older bikes are for taking into our local town once in a while to park in front of the store and watch tourists ogle and ask questions.
