Hi everyone. I've bought a 2004 Bullet Sixty 5 that's been stood for a few years. I want to change all fluids, filters and battery etc but I've already hit a stumbling block! I've found some info saying this has seperate gearbox and crankcase oil (kind of what I expected) but some info saying they're sharing the same oil? So far I've checked the points gap, sorted the air filter and fitted a new battery but I want to make sure I'm getting the oil right before I try give it a first fire up!

I had a Sixty Five until March, but kickststarting it got a bit too much for me, and the electric leg can be a bit overworked when ther're cold.
Also, if its been standing, and you don't know how the rubber parts are - check them.
The inlet hose from the back of the right-hand "toolbox" to the "airbox" on mine was toast when I got mine.
Also inlet manifold rubber "tubes" crack, look good, but leak. Cheap enough to replace.
(I'll try to find links to useful stuff, but my memory (amongst other things) ain't what it was.)

I've had a good look at the hoses you suggested and they look suspect so I'll be getting them changed out too. Looks like there will be a lot to do now!
