Yep, I had to check the calendar. It is January 17 and we are one month into winter. After finishing my Saturday morning chore as lunch time and the sun high in the sky it was time to head west to the coast. Light traffic on the backroads and when I got to the crest of the Coastal Range the view was unlimited. I headed North towards the Russian River and stopped along the way to take in the fantastic visibility and the fact my under seat temp was sitting on 68f making the riding conditions perfect with no wind. Crossed the Russian River and headed up the switch backs towards Fort Ross (old Russian settlement for u history buffs) and the visibility was unlimited from the steep clifside road. Turned around to get this photo of the mouth of the Russian River and to get back before dark.
