Hi Alan, the stroker crankshaft build was completed over a year ago. It worked out quite well, the area that i live in consists of mostly hilly terrain, which is why i wanted a bit more torque, along with increasing the stroke, the weight of the crankshaft was increased from the factory 8 kg to 10 kg. The small end of the connecting rod was bored by 0.5mm to fit the UCE piston pin. The other change done was to notch the bottom of the cylinder liner / sleeve so that the connecting rod would clear it. From a serviceability point of view, the piston, rings and piston pin is from the UCE engine and the connecting rod, connecting rod bush and big end pin is from the IB engine.
I have not started with the J series big bore conversion kit just yet, because I don't have a j series engine with me. If someone was willing to give it a try I can quickly put together the parts and have it ready. All that's remaining is to rebore the cylinder barrel and insert a new liner / sleeve.
