Footpegs vs running boards

Should I look at footboards? Any suggestions or recommendations for brands or styles to look at?

Any pro or cons with switching to foot boards?

I love floorboards. My two panhead Harleys had them, and I put them on my Honda Ace.
There's more room to move your feet around. The down side is you usually have to lift your foot to shift or brake. So they're best for easy does it, laid back riding.
