French RE owners/Oil

Where do French owners get the stated 15w/50w RE recommended oil please

I tried several Moto Culture shops this morning (I live rural but went to a town)

One tried selling me transmission oil, (his stock was mainly 2* based) the vehicle spares shop looked online and 10w/40w was the data search result

The supermarket had 15/50 but only in mineral oil

Do you buy main dealership/online or simply run 10/40

Here in the UK my supplying and servicing dealer used Motul synthetic 10w/40. The manual says 10w/50 for the 650 Interceptor. The bike is now out of warranty and I'm doing my own maintenance, it'll get 10w/50 a Mahle or Hi-Flo oil fiter which is easy to find on line.

^^^ Decent oil this - also solved the burnt/carbonisation colour and smell I was getting when using C#strol oil in mine - and the gearchange improved.

There's a good range of 15w50 motorbike oils here in Spain (I go for Repsol semi-synth simply because it's cheap), very odd you didn't have luck locally

The Greek dealerships use Motul 5100 15w50 semi-synth . This is very good enough for my RE 650 . I do change every 2500 km as my preference.

I use the Motul 7100 15w50 in my Bullet. Loads of places sell it in the Netherlands and I expect even more sellers in France.
