Getting to know the 411

Finally made it

With 2K miles on my 2020 Himalayan I am starting to become more familiar with it. Having spent the last 15 years or so on a DR 650, it is an interesting comparison between the two. Other than power and weight, the Himi wins in every other comparison category I can think of. Not to mention you could buy three of them for the price of one well set up DR at today's prices. Anyway, it was a good ride out exploring forest roads yesterday and here are a couple of pictures of it.

Interesting comparison, the DR650 v Himalayan.
I'm an ex DF650 SE owner, and it's the bike I think off for comparison with my Scram.

What I'd really love is a DR engine in my Scram. :)

Kind of the other way here, while the DR is way more powerful I appreciate the way the 411 engine tractors from low RPM. It pulls fine down to 2000 RPM, where the DR is extremely unhappy that low. But for street use in a scram, I could see that being a good combination.

There's a guy here in Thailand that has fitted a 608cc Yamaha single in his 411....
