Himalayan LED aux lights mounting

Hi folks,
I am busy getting my Himalayan ready for touring, and keen to mount some LED lights on her. Many of the solutions I see are a little cumbersome, but I really like this option which is mounted to the existing fork mounting bolts. It looks neat and is also well clear of anything that might be mounted to the front panniers.

The firm/product that inspired me (images below) are in the US so unable to order without significant shipping costs.

- Has anyone seen a similar offering in the UK?
- Does anyone see any concerns with mounting to the extended front fork bolts? Will it compromise the steering strength/performance in any way?
- I already have some LED lights of similar style from Amazon so could build this myself if I could assemble the right length of bolt and a spacer. Any thoughts on sizes?

I welcome any thoughts or alternative solutions!

Those look pretty slick! I just ordered these and am totally stoked about them . It was a very easy mount. Not sure if they ship to UK, but I got two complete sets for $29 bucks - why 2 sets you may ask? Because their minimum order is $29 and one set in stainless steel only cost $14. So I put the first set on to try it, will paint the second set or have them powder coated and then mount them . . . Here is the thread where I found them:

@Napom - agreed, they look great!
Do they fit both the old type front rack and the new type front rack?
I have the newer BS6 with the cutaway rack and wondering if they would do the job...

Please exercise caution with fork braces.
Can you torque down to original torque settings using the mount?
If yes then great you have a winner !
If not then it might be a worry.
Please let us know either way.

Good luck hope it works as it definitely looks great. Love the minimalist look.

What are the measurements of the bolt hole at the bottom of the cross plate? If they are the same as the 2021 Himmie, it will fit! I can measure the holes in the bracket for you this weekend if I get out to my motor shed . . .

Just a word of warning about removing the clamp bolts. RE use a thread locker which is so poor that it can be more like glue. I've read threads on here about threads stripping or bolts breaking on the forks so perhaps worth a bit of research. Heat using a soldering iron was mentioned. If there is any sign of excessive resistance after initially breaking free be very careful - wind back in and out perhaps.

I was looking at these mounts which would be an easy and safe install. It would be a good opportunity to put on some front mudguard risers at the same time. My only concern would be that they're connected on the lower fork leg and would have a lot of movement.

That's a smart design Rubicon. Had I known about those earlier I probably would have gone for them.
I have mine coming off the side crash bars, but a little worried they are going to interfere with the side mounting bags (yet to purchase)...
