I am wanting to remove the bolts in the end of the handlebars, to fit some bar end mirrors. The bolts are tight and I am afraid I might twist them off. What do I need to do to remove them?

The bolts have threadlock applied. Gently rocking them backwards and forwards is the safest bet. If you just wind them out there is a possibility that the threadlock will jam up causing the bolts to snap. Normally a little heat (hairdryer ?) will help, but in this situation you risk damaging the grips.

Mine were rusty inside which made them very hard to remove and this was from brand new... I guess the bikes catch a little damp in the shipping containers on the way over.... It took a lot of shear force but did free up with out rounding out first...
