heres the screen that the guy was reporting on ..if i remember it was the washboard rippled surface he was riding on a trip that killed it

maby he overtightened and some rubber washers/grommets would have helped

thanks for the pictures @minky! I found the original thread as well - I've forwarded this to the development team to see if they have any ideas.

i got one last week from powerbronze

had a test run and need to do some messin about with it because of my height but for me its deffo a much better option than a fixed screen
im going to amend it a bit to fit my needs but there more positives than negatives it will suit people that are a bit less tall and maby more road biased unless your willing to amend it youself a bit but its a nice peice of kit overall

Very good feedback for Powerbronze. To be fair, the screen was probably designed more for touring than off road. Maybe an ADV version might be on a drawing board ;) hint. If you had some longer bolts, would it be possible to add spacers to the bottom set of fixing bolts and longer spacers to the top pair. Obviously you can't go too far forward at the bottom before the screen protrudes in front of the headlight lens.. or failing that, just spacers on the top fixings for maximum top forward angle. Love your bike and the mods you have done to it, hadn't thought of putting the TPS above the satnav.

interesting review. My screen arrived from Powebronze today (thanks @GrantPB 👍) so I’ll get it fitted tomorrow and start to do some testing and feedback for Powerbronze. I’m 5’8”and using the stock seat on the low position, so it will be interesting to compare our experiences with the screen, and also to see how the adjustable screen compares to the Powerbronze 375mm Touring screen that is currently fitted to my bike.

Thanks Mark. I wanted to get screens out to a few of you, because we are all different and run different setups, it's good to see what works for everyone. The more feedback we can get, the better. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hi there,

Could you tell us how you remoted your indicators so they can be seen.
Did it take much splicing into the wiring to acheive?

Cheers

Hi. Did you have to add resistors to the leds or just straight parallel wired?

Cheers
Rick
