I reckon my Scram is gonna see a bunch of the Parkway this summer. I get on in Floyd Co generally and pick a direction. Floyd to Afton was a heck of a ride on the T120 i used to have.
I enjoy jumping on the parkway, getting off at Tuggle Gap, taking a short break, hitting 8 to Woolwine, then taking the backroads up to Callaway and on into Roanoke.

I've discovered I have a 90 mile butt on my Scram. Ordered padded shorts today :)
Hahahaha I did 115 miles yesterday and the last 10 miles I would have thrown it in the back of a passing pick up truck … never had motorcycles so bloody uncomfortable as RE’s I suffer the same in the Interceptor too and that’s with touring seats.

That's funny how it works. Other than my old VStrom, the RE's have some of the most comfy stock seats I've had. Bodies are different, I 'spose.

Just want to let my fellow retirees know that I share their pain. I'm forced to leave on Friday to spend a week on the backroads of West Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia. Then 2 weeks after that a 2 week trip out to the South Dakota Badlands and Teddy Roosevelt NP.
The struggle is real!!!! :p
