As from tomorrow Wednesday the 13th we are free to go a ride on our bikes .MCN contacted the government to confirm this & they said "yes" ..my tank is full & I intend to go a good long ride without stopping anywere for a coffee or a meet up with anyone then home ..I think we still need to be careful.

A lock down story ..... Ish
Well we checked the weather, checked it again and set off at 0430hrs this morning for Bridlington on the mighty Royal Enfield Himalayan 400 ..... The rain started just north of Donnie and continued ... and continued ...... The decision was made at Driffield to return home via York ... but sprits where high ... a stop at Selby for a hot sausage roll and return via the A19 / M18 saw us home for 0830hrs .. soaked, but full of laughter... and puddles in our boots ..... And yes! we believed the weather forecast and we are wearing jeans !!!

For all of you "Covid-19 Lifestylers" .......Social Distancing was maintained at all times. The ride was an essential journey for the continuing positive mental health of our family ... No Llamas where injured during the ride ..!:rolleyes:😄

Here in the state of South Australia we were always able take a ride as long as we maintained social distancing. so for those of us who ride alone and pack a gas stove and percolator no problem.
We currently have no live cases and have had one new case in the past 30 days, so we have, for the moment, eliminated it.
Deaths for our state population of 2 million totaled four, all contracted outside the state.
Pubs reopen today, but drinks only with food, don't know if a packet of chips among four will count!.
And it has been raining for the past 3 days, as rare as a drought in Scotland!
