I'm working on an October run on the MABDR. No dates locked down yet. My friends rides a KLR ( won't hold that against him) we did the VA to TN TAT last year on our Urals. Looking forward to going.

I did buy the Tennessee information, but never got around to riding anything more than 60 - 100 miles in each direction from my house. If you look at many of my gravel road with water crossing photos in the ride report section of this forum you will see what the roads are like.

I did the Damascus to Teleco plains. On my Ural. It's a great ride with tons to see. Your lucky your so close. I have to come from Wake Forest, NC to get to Damascus.
