Massachusetts to Northern New Hampshire on Thursday 15 May

Alan F.

Well travelled
Thursday 15 May I will be riding Routes 125 & 16 north from Massachusetts to Errol, New Hampshire. On some of NH's most beautiful and twisty roads. This route for me is 166 miles one-way and the full round trip could be as low as 8 hours in the saddle not counting any stops, but there's no hurry and opportunities for fuel, rest rooms and snacks or meals are plentiful.

Who can ride along with me?
Anyone is welcome for any part or the entire trip.

Weather forecasts have been improving and show Cloudy, 75° with light and variable winds for the entire route, but bring your rain gear anyway.

I plan on an early start to the day and should be able to meet up with other riders, we should be northbound by 8am and I expect to reach the first fuel stop, a Citgo Station at 865 NH-16, Ossipee, NH around 10am if anyone wants to join the ride there.

I'm hoping this is enough notice to shake a few more riders loose for the day. All bikes are welcome, I'll be on my Interceptor not breaking any speed records, just hoping for a good day out.

This is Rt16 south from Errol last Halloween, it was an 80° day. I'm hoping the road construction has been completed by now.

Noted but I'm struggling with much forecast rain and getting a pet sitter. Sunday and Monday are clear, but then rain again. I currently have flash food warnings from here through to at least Bennington. And no pet sitter even if the weather improves.

Unfortunately my pool league division playoffs are that day (and we're tied for first) so I can't do it.

Maybe next time... Have a good ride Alan.
