Meteor 350 side panels beautified

As some may know I have been giving my meteor 350 Stellar black a complete make over. Today I completed side panels, the base colour (black) were fine sand with 2500 grit wet and dry. Top colour is Samurai paints metallic black 2 light coats and last coat a wee bit heavier. Finished off with 1K clear coat 2 light coats 10 minutes apart last coat heavier. Just a note; the stickers on the side panel are sprayed under the top coat so hard to remove and I sanded back to plastic first before using plastic primer.
My stellar matt black meteor is now looking more like the wee cruiser she should have been, shining like a star, almost ready for our usual ride around the lovely tropical island of Cebu, Philippines. At times I miss the UK but looking out the window at blue skies on 30 degrees days nah! This is motorcycling heaven…..

Currently Working on the headlight bucket and still to do another round of polishing shiny bits. Wheels are finally ready to fine polish but not long now to do the grand reveal
