NEC Motorcycle Live 2025

Is anyone going to Motorcycle Live this year?
I'm hoping to see the Himalayan 750 (and the BMW 450... I haven't lost my love of BMWs yet!).

I usually visit the show on a weekday, when it's a bit quieter.
(I'll also try and avoid rain, since I'm pretty flexible time-wise.)

Meet up for a coffee (at the Royal Enfield stand, of course!)?

I'm UK bound just to be sure to go (EICMA too difficult to arrange at present)

I also go weekdays to lessen the crowds but haven't picked a day yet as I usually ride and last year's overnight snow was a ball ache to get home.

Keep us in the loop on which day you're planning and I will likewise

I even treat you to a coffee ☕ (it's feeevatvthe RE stand 😂 ,my generosity knows no bounds)

Hello,

I shall be going, probably Thursday as it's the only free day that week I'll have. looking forward to seeing the new CB1000f, the new Triumphs and I want a good look at the gsx8-tt, and the 450 BMW (hopefully they won't have watered it down from the concept bike too much)

Hopefully there won't be any snow this year either like last!

The new version of the Suzuki SV650 (called, confusingly, the SV-7GX, but still the 650 v-twin, lightly tweaked for Euro 5+) should be worth a look.

I had a good day out at the MCL/NEC show today... sadly, I didn't buy anything!
(No bike... not even a pair of gloves.)

A cold run (4 degrees) in the morning, but only my left thumb suffered... a bloke I chatted to in the Bike Park had the same problem with his _right_ thumb, so I don't know what's going on there!

The show seemed much busier this year, which I didn't greatly like, but I guess it's a good thing for the industry.

The Royal Enfield area denied an imminent Himalayan 750, so I guess @Banger is right, and we'll have to wait another year.
I didn't get my free coffee (grumpy man said "The Girl" was on her lunch break, and wouldn't deign to lower himself to such a mundane task), so @ChampRoyal , you owe me!

It was almost enough to send me back to BMW...
...speaking of which, the 450GS was pretty awesome...
...but if I see another parallel-twin with 270-degree firing interval, I think I'll scream.
What's that... it's a 135-degree firing interval??
How innovative.

The Chinese bikes seemed to be where the real excitement lives... so many brands... so many crazy bikes!
Not just @Midlife Crisis 's Hero Hunk, but offerings from Benda, Voge, and Kove, and then European-badged Chinese bikes like Benelli and Morbidelli.
How about a Keeway v-twin 300 (reminded me of the lovely old Morini 3 1/2).
Or a Benda v-four 500, with a tractor tyre on the back!
(Could you really ride up to your local bike meet on a Benda?)

Anyway, it's all good clean fun.
I hope all who go later in the week enjoy it as much as I did, and don't suffer too much with the weather!

Ride Safe.

I managed to get there on the Thursday, wasn't too busy so managed to see and sit on most bikes I wanted too.

Like you I didn't buy anything, I also didn't get a free coffee, the girl at Royal Enfield must have been on a reeeeaaaallly long break!

I did notice the Himalayan had an Arrow exhaust on it which looked neat, although having Googled it found it to be just shy of £500.....

Saw the CB1000F on the Honda stand, which I wasn't overly impressed with and had a sit on the KLE 500 which I found a little uncomfortable.

Think my favourite bike from the show was the Triumph 1200 scrambler XE.

All in all a good day out even though I did managed to dribble Chicken Gyros juice all down my trousers so I looked like I'd wet myself from 1pm onwards!!
