Where did you get the side panels that say "Interceptor" instead of Int.?
The dealership that I bought the 650 from just 'threw them in' when I paid extra for the chrome/red gas tank. They aren't perfect, however, the black paint on one of the panels is scuffed. I have the pair of original 'Int' panels still new in a carton, and will eventually mount them to the bike.

I'd keep the ones that say "Interceptor" on them. So what if one of them is a bit scuffed? They look cool and that's what counts.

I "think" it's only in markets where Honda has copyright to the name Interceptor that RE has to label the bike "Int".
Seems odd to me that it is that way because Enfield had Interceptors on the road when Honda was only making tiddlers and decades before they glommed onto the name, but it is what it is.
Seems odd to me too. "Interceptor" is pretty much a generic term. I don't see where Honda would have the right to copywrite it. And I like Honda too. They make good stuff. I have a Honda car, lawn mower, and generator, and I seriously considered getting a Honda Shadow before I went with my Interceptor. But they are being a dog in the manger about this.

My UK Interceptor has the word "Interceptor" on the side panels, maybe you could nip to the UK for some warm beer, Fish n chips, and pick up a set of side panels while you are here?
Ordering on tinternet (UK joke) does seem so boring in comparison.

Looks like I can order side panels with the full word "Interceptor" on them from Hitchcock's. But they will cost me over $100 bucks by the time I pay shipping. :(

So down they go to the bottom of my priority list.

We were in Yorkshire several years ago, should have snagged a couple of spare 'Interceptor' side covers while we were there. Oh well, maybe next time.
