In other news, if it's completely dead with no lights or anything, yeah it's worth checking the ignition switch since that's about the only thing that can effect ALL of the electrics in one place after the things you've already looked at. Also worth asking this on the other forum, there's a few 535 owners over there who might know of a common issue.
 
Maybe make sure that your kill switch is turned to the on position, I get caught everytime, and I swear , I have a flat battery.
Usually you still get lights etc, and the starter cranks on some bikes, with the killswitch off ... that's what can make it a real head scratcher when it's been knocked by accident and you're trying to check your HT leads by the side of the road for half an hour before realizing what happened. Not that I've ever done that.
