Paint the engine logo on powder coated black Fireball engine?

Getting there...
East Tennessee
I was cruising the Reddit forum and saw that some guys were painting in the embossed logos on the aluminum engines of their GT’s. I thought it looked really nice. The process involved using high temperature engine paint to fill in the logo, then using fine grit sandpaper to clean up the edges.

I know that process would not be possible on the powder coated black engine of the Fireball without destroying the finish.

I was curious if any Meteor owners have figured out a way to do it properly. I think that that little touch of yellow on the black would look awesome.

Note: I did find a video of a guy doing it without using the sandpaper method by using Testor’s acrylic model paint and wiping off the edges with a small amount of thinner, but my concern is the rough texture of the powder coating. I want it to look like it came from the factory. (It should be noted he was still painting on aluminum, not on powder coat. )

Thanks folks! I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
