International sales are dwarfed by the domestic market. You can see it as very large room for growth or we in the rest of the world may be an after-thought for spares. I am inclined to think RE sees the growth and any issues on spares are temporary. Not, of course, that I have any special insight but on one month of one metric, this division of the company is on fire.

Also, is that right? Over 6 million units of 350cc or less (all J series these days?) in the past fiscal year?

The numeric conventions are different. I believe it is three digits from the right for the first comma and then every two digits is separated by a comma. So in western terms it would be 673,582 units in the up to 350cc class for their fiscal year to date or 11 months. It's like learning what lakh means as a unit. Thanks for clicking the link.

Half a million a year is still impressive for the J series drivetrain, as long as there is shipping from the other side of the planet I have no worry for parts.

Agreed. It was a factor in my choice. I may not have the mechanical ability of some here but with Hitchcocks, ebay, time and enough tools, I considered I would always keep my Enfield running with or without dealerships and warranties.
