...........I just get weirded out, since about 90% of the emails I get are for scams (one of the many prices we pay for getting old!).
Yeah, don't worry about it too much. It seems to be essentially pretty useless, but harmless - lol! Like I said, I've been registered with it for 6 months now and haven't experienced any adverse affects - like any spikes in spam traffic, etc. I figure it's just another additional free RE resource to have - besides the RE dealer here - in case I ever need to prove I'm an RE owner should I ever need to have warranty work done. That's primarily why I did it.I appreciate the feedback. I certainly don't feel obligated to join. I am interested. The linked URL certainly looks like it's part of the RoyalEnfield.com domain. I just get weirded out, since about 90% of the emails I get are for scams (one of the many prices we pay for getting old!). I'll probably scratch my head a bit and register later today. Thanks again!
I made the mistake of giving my landline when it asked for phone number so could never get the authentication code. I gave up trying to reach support but after several months I needed something, maybe a ride location, and my login magically worked. It's nice but there is not a lot of value having access. They may offer more in the future.Interestingly I have been trying to sign up and it failed 100% of the time. I have a ticket open with RE customer support
