Renovate or repair

I am in the lucky position of finding a 'Barn Find', Royal Enfield Continental GT 250. But do I do a full renovation or repair. It's in fair condition no major rust. So which is the best thing to do with regards the future as an investment?

Sound like you have found the Holy Grail of REs. I would get it back to good running condition and leave the original patina. Anyone can buy or restore a bike but a original condition these days is much harder to find and will bring you more money in the end.
