Here are some shots of a trip to Salta and other parts of north west Argentina that I did a few years ago. I couldn't find anyone to come with me so I just took off by myself and had a wonderful time.
Fortunately I have a Brit friend who lives near Salta so I was able to stay at his house for a couple of nights before continuing my journey to Cachi, from where I rode to Cafayate on the mythical Ruta 40 which turned out to be 140kms of gravel. Not recommended for a custom/chopper style bike, so I hope to return to that spot on the Himalayan.
Argentina is a vast country with so much to explore and my first major trip on the Himalayan will be to Puerto Madryn in Patagonia
The plan
Recta del Tintin
Approaching Cachi
The Bishop's Climb
The road to Cafayate
