So just like too many modern suv's, it's all just styling and not about substance. For people who want the cool look but who never intend to take the bike offroad. Too bad.

Hey AZMtnGirl, I'm not looking to pick an argument. Please let me offer a different perspective o.k. ? I mostly agree for probably 99.9% of the folks the Bullet Trials will probably be a styling thing or represent a dream thing. ( modern SUV )

O.k. so here comes the perspective thing, please bear with me. The Bullet of old was designed by an engineer who was a competitive trials rider. This other guy Jonny Brittain dominated the ISDT more than couple times on a Bullet. They made for a heck of a scrambles bike back in the day. The, ahem "modern" Bullet shares pretty much the same geometry with the old Bullet. So my point is IF a rider wants to taste old school scrambles without the price tag of a vintage scrambler the Bullet scrambler should be a good taste and a good start.

Thanks for sharing some of the history with me Sir Eatmore. I didn't know that little tidbit about the Bullet. I was going strictly by what was written in the review. :)

Old School is why I wanted a naked thumper I could afford. My first bike was a Yamaha RD125. Personally, I didn't want an expensive light-cycle of plastic! Go with what you enjoy riding. It's all perspective...
