Shaky headlight!

Have you checked to see if the globe is held down and in place properly by the wire clip on the back of the light assembly? If not, it's a simple job of popping the headlight assembly off, taking off the big rubber seal and checking the clip.

I'd suggest an o-ring but heat won't allow many types, perhaps a wave washer will do if you can't create a 'wave' on the bulb's flange?
I ended up taking it apart and bending the ring clips some to hold the new light tighter. So far, so good. Fingers crossed.

I put an entire LED light in mine. Held in by the stock clips. It rotates. I'm taking it back apart today to try to cinch it up.
I have the exact same LED light, it shakes and moves indeed. I purchased the largest rubber band i could find and put pieces of it under the metal clips. It solved the issue.
Also i installed the clip the other way than originally put, seems to hold the lamp in place a bit tighter.

Greast idea on the rubber band!
So far, mine is staying put with the more bent clips. Fingers crossed.
I did have a chance, for the first time last night, to ride home in the dark. The headlight worked very well. Low beam was broad. High bean provided a distant spot-type light, along with the broad low beam at the same time. I was pleased. The broad beam was effective for watching for deer.

I got another idea based on a youtube video. The Puig headlight for triumph/harley/etc (Lumen R Led Headlight - Puig Hi-Tech Parts ) has a casing for direct replacement on those bikes. BUT the inner LED lamp is of normal 7-inch built and fits ANY 7inch housing it seems. I will buy one today and try and install it on my scram, so expect some pictures later today. The quality of that led lamp seems far better than some chinese ALiExpress ones i got so far, at least based on some video reviews.
