Shotgun vs. Super Meteor

Yes, a few tidbits of information. He did confirm one of my suspicions, that he felt like he had to reach for the grips and put weight on his arms. I wonder if the Meteor's bars have more rise and/or sweep?

I'm 6ft 4in tall and I have a long torso, so if anybody would find a need to lean forward it would be me. All I can say is if you find yourself putting any weight on your arms riding a Shotgun, your posture is terrible. You do lean SLIGHTLY forward, but it's barely noticeable, especially at speed since the wind holds you up. The riding position is almost upright. I think the problem that a lot of people seem to have with the Shotgun, especially if they have a Super Meteor is that they try to sit on it like a Super Meteor. Stuart Fillingham on Youtube talked about this very thing after having a Shotgun for a couple of weeks to ride. I could ridemy shotgun all Day and be perfectly fine.

The bars on the Shotgun are a bit narrower, shorter, and straighter than the SM bars, and the seat height is higher, which all contributes to the changes.

This is the video in question.
