Show me your View

We've been 70's and low 80's. Showing some of our urban views and human wildlife. :) One of the film directors shown is Clint Bentley, nominated for a best adapted screenplay at our Academy Awards (kinda a big deal) both last and this year. He is a local artist as well, support your's if you can.

Had to include a Quinceañeras shop, there are more than I can count in this neighborhood and they are a wonder to look at. Must be quite the experience growing up. It's right next to the theatre and a CBD shop "Doobies".

Motorcycling tie in at the theater, the movie Pillion is on that old Marquee. Credits have a huge list of actors just labeled "Motorcyclists and Pillions.", can't take my mom though to this one by any stretch. :)

Woke up to a black ice warning from excessive snow melt so waited until noon to set out. Didn't go far but enjoyed 85 intoxicating miles. Really like tootling along in third and fourth on The Bullet with the revs up. Wondered if I was overdressed but while it may have been 60 in the sun, the ravines and valleys were cool. A hose and blow dry at the end to get any salt and sand off in case The Bullet now sits for three weeks. If I can do the same tomorrow with the Interceptor, I will be very happy. PS, hesitated slightly but fired right up.

Warmer than yesterday. Went to John Burroughs summer house. John wasn't home so went elsewhere for breakfast. 125 miles. Interceptor fired up without hesitation. And now it's back to the end of winter. Still need to polish the machine but did get it washed of sand and salt before drying and parking in the garage for another few weeks.

View out my motel room window Sunday morning in Dodgeville, Wisconsin:

Luckily, the rain didn't last too long, and by 10 am it was sunny and warming up for the Slimey Crud Run in Pine Bluff. Here's the view from the corner of County P and Mineral Point Road:

Not many RE's in attendance aside from my Himalayan, but I saw a couple of the 350s and 650s, and a Scram.

One more Sunday view, from a stool in the old Al. Ringling mansion in Baraboo:

That's a five-ounce taste of stout. The railroad car can hold up to sixteen such glasses, which is also the number of taps behind the bar. Purely coincidence, I'm sure. I didn't ask if they have a bigger version to roll away any customer who orders a fully-loaded flatcar.

You had me thinging there for a minute , were u back i n sa Williamstown Nice ride nice bike what saddle bags do u have
I'm overdue for a visit but let the world calm down a bit first. And the algal bloom to disappear forever. I shudder when I think we may be among the last to see and remember Adelaide's pristine beaches. The side bags are Enfield knockoffs from eBay. They won't last forever but are fine. The top bag on the rear rack are my frog toggs. Random thunderstorms forecast but I missed all of them.
An aside but I was just thinking that back in the day, 8 hours was Adelaide to Melbourne and the road barely curved.
