I had the gloves before I bought my second hand Hima, which came with Oxford heated grips with a five position Intelligent heat control.
Actually two position, I couldn't detect any heat on the first three!
My requirements may be different from most in that the first 5/10 km are the coldest I will experience for the day, and in the colder weather my usual runs are less than one hours duration. Sometimes on different bikes.
And those arthritic 75 year old hands, so I like grip puppies over the grips too!
So the heated grips just took too long to get the heat through the puppies and my winter gloves , most journeys were half over before there was any heat in my hands.
Battery life is OK, I have them on full for around 10 min then there is around three hours left at medium/low.
So not the thing for all day riding in cold climes, but most will already know that, and Venture make a plug in version if you require longer life.
Actual quality of the gloves is top notch, probably a little better than the BMW touring gloves they replaced.

I just purchased a 2022 Himalayan. I still can’t figure out if the warranty is 2 or 3 years. The dealer told me 2, but they know very little in general.

Don’t they have to provide warranty in writing ?
If not email RE USA and the dealer to confirm warranty. Surely there are laws covering disclosure of warranty? If it’s on RE USA website save the page and email it so there is a date stamp on it.

I'm supposed to be picking my new one in a couple of hours time 😁. I can see what my warranty is thought I'm UK so maybe wont be the same as US

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the club! That's a sharp looking bike! Glad they started painting the heat shields - such a little thing adds so much. I am taking mine off to paint once it warms up a bit.

This is what I've got with my bike. 36 months warranty and roadside assist
I can't seem to find any documentation on the US warranty.
I dont think roadside service is offered on the Himalayan here..
I emailed Royal Enfield customer service but no reply in a week.,

Well finally got my new Himalayan. Only 20 odd miles so far on the way home but I must say I love it! I had nearly forgotten how much I enjoyed the test ride. Glad I've joined club 👍
Congratulations, look forward to your stories of accessorising it and riding it. 🙂

OK so you picked up a new bike and Storm Dudley turns up, followed two days later by storm Eunice - I take it timing isn't your greatest asset?
God choice of bike, the faring looks smoked, is that standard on the Euro 5 bikes?

😂 Yeah not the greatest timing but at least its mine now and I've managed a few miles in between the storms

It's a good wee bike but not sure if the big man upstairs would have one 🤔.
As far as I know the euro 5's have smoked screens
