Tripper issue - SCRAM 411

Tripper not connecting, so removed app, reinstalled it, tried pairing the tripper, selected add device, it sends me the pairing code on the bike, then tells me the device could not be saved. (iPhone)
Anyone else have this issue?
 
Mine kept disconnecting every time it did the wonky-start thing. It also reset the clock on the speedo. I didn't use it anyway, so it was nothing more than another "wrong clock". Nissbird tach in its place cured the problem. Most folks use their phones for GPS anyway.

looking for a fix...
 
I have had identical issue with my 2023 Scram's Tripper and my iPhone SE. It finds the Tripper, I enter the code, then it immediately loses the connection and I can re-do this over and over, but nav is not usable currently.
 
Reading these posts (and re-reading some of the others on the Tripper pod and dash unit (TFT) inspired me to give it another try this morning on my Sunday AM ride. I connected 3x and the first two times, the phone app said it could not save the connected device and then the Tripper pod screen went to a red helmet (not connected). Third time, when it said it could not save the connected device, nonetheless I entered a destination into the app and clicked Start, and surprisingly, it began to display on the Tripper pod. I did my ride about 10 miles looping my small town within cell tower range the entire time. The Tripper worked the whole time. Several hours later and the device does not appear listed when I open the app now. Mysterious.
