Two more #bikeandbrewpassport stamps - The Gower and Sketty Park

wadesnj

Well travelled
It was a lovely day in South Wales yesterday, so I took the chance to visit two more venues and collect two more stamps in my passport. First off to the beautiful Gower peninsular and the picturesque Port Eynon where I had a great breakfast at the Smugglers Beach Bar and collected my stamp from the Smugglers Gift Shop. The bay looked stunning in the morning light. Then a short ride back across the Gower to Sketty Park in Swansea and the Chap In The Box coffee shop, a converted horse trailer that sells a great range of coffees and snacks and cakes. The proprietor is a biker who is also collecting passport stamps! A great little 85 mile round trip, and also popped in to M&P in Gorseinon to have a look at the new and used bikes on display, hundreds of them.

Feeling guilty that I have been neglecting the Ducati since I got the Interceptor, I took a spin on it just now to the West End café in Llandovery - the Owl's Nest is closed today. The Monster 1000Sie felt harsh and uncomfortable after the Enfield, but it is certainly fast, and very loud! At least the footpegs don't bang my shins like the Enfield. After the recent Desmo service, the motor feels in fine fettle and accelerates had up to an indicated ***mph.
