Why your country has the nicest roads in Europe

On 2018 I made a trip around Sweden and Norway (and just a tiny bit of Finland). Once I got off the ferry, I put my satnav on the saddlebag and I did not take if out again until I got back from the return ferry. Never lost, it was incredible.

Returning to the original topic... the part of Germany I live in is quite boring roadwise. No mountains, no hills, no nothing. However, you ride 200-300 km to the south and you get to the Eiffel natural park, which is quite impressive. The roads, the small cities and towns... I was there not long ago and I enjoyed every second of it. A lot of riders from the Netherlands go there as well.

I'm an American in Greece and stunned by the number of great riding roads from the north of Greece down through Peliponosos. I didn't see Greece mentioned here so I thought I should put it on folks radar.

Ireland here. The great thing here is, I can ride on rural roads for hours and see very few other people or cars. Also, there are very few speed cameras. The worst thing is the state of, some, of the roads. Some are so bad you can't even do the speed limit.
