Yet another Cumbrian

A tentative good afternoon folks, although I'm not sure if I'm allowed as I appear to breach the rule of two Cumbrians only? I may get by of the technicality that I'm not yet an owner yet ;)
I'm a 62 year old who was a born again biker in my 40s after 20 years not riding. Since 2007 I've owned a 1997 BMW R1100 gs and the last 4 years it's been supplemented by a BMW K100, Watsonian Oxford Chair outfit. I love both and can't bear to part with either. But the RE urge has the upper hand, always swore I'd have one before I died! Still not certain which model yet. I love the basic Bullet 500 initially, I tried the Himalayan but it's not for me, too small for my 6' 4" frame, at least that's what it felt like. Cash has landed on my desk to enable me to further my dream. I fell in love with a 1960 Constellation 650 which has added electronic ignition along with a few other sympathetic upgrades. It was on Ebay for ages but finally sold just before my windfall arrived. It was made the year I was born :( Since then I've considered the Scram 411 and then out of no where the Super Meteor 650 plunged into my heart. Not sure how that's happened as I've had zero interest in cruisers before? Anyhow I'm going to make a few visits to the local dealership, about an hour by train to try all the different models out. Any other 6ft plus lanky gits on here that have issues with any of the models?

I like your sentiment, but I'm not too sure if you'll find an enfield to fit. You tried the Himi and found it too small? The super meteor might be the only one that might be comfortable.

I'm 6'1" and lanky and ride a Himmy with a Sahara Seat cover and it made a difference. There is also a taller seat for it as well. The Scram will be the same as the Himmy. I haven't yet but I would like to lengthen the shifter for a better angle. Well hope you have a great time checking out the bikes, and what are your intended riding going to be will also help with decision.

Interesting comments thanks. Pehaps I should add that I have relatively short legs for my height (33") it's all in my back! My intended riding is primarily bimbling around the Lake District. I life on the edge of this, work from home for the hours I choose, so I can go out when I feel like it. The roads around here are not really suitable for power rangers due to what I call the three Ts. Tourists, tankers (milk) and tractors, inevitably stopped in the middle of the road just round a blind bend, the only way past is often through a dry stone wall!
