    Engine guards?

Everything seems to be out of the way of the things that need to be accessed for service.

    Service costs?

That's true, and I think that raises another problem. Apparently in India for you to register the bike you have to provide an Indian address. Therefore if you don't live there you can't register in your name. On the other topic, yes there is protectionism and that is necessary to maintain the...

    Service costs?

Itchy Boots had to give up her first Himalayan as the authorities in the Netherlands would not provide her the correct certifications in order for her to register it. So my guess is, if you buy a bike in India you probably will not be able to transfer registration to the EU,

    Hello from Dallas, TX

Welcome to the RE crowd. I am in College Station. I have been looking at those Int650 with interest but don't seem to be able to justify it since I am not selling my Triumph Thruxton.

    Engine guards?

Interesting you say that, I installed the Givi crash bars without removing the exhaust. I didn't measure the screw, I wonder if they changed it. Their instructions are not always the best, but that is GIVI.

    Update on Itchyboots

My question for the non-Noraly fans is, "you don't pay for entertainment?". The fact that she and others monetize their YouTube channels is not a problem for me. They provide entertainment and while some have very amateur videos, others like her put out quite a nice piece of videography in...

    Update on Itchyboots

Well.....times change and things change with it. Itchy Boots provides nice entertainment and insight wherever she travels. If you don't care for it you don't have to watch it. But yes, she is a courageous female rider that can put herself in some situations that to most of us would make our...

    Engine guards?

I got the Givi bars and I got mine on sale for $160 (Revzilla). The three point attachment gives me more confidence than than the 2 point attachment of the RE engine guards. Also they don't make the bike too wide. I have not tested them yet but i am sure they will do a fine job,

Just took a Himalayan for a test ride

Hi cjm76 (not sure of your name). An aftermarket seat is essential. The seat that comes with the bike is what is expected from a cheap Indian seat. I do know what you mean, I like this seat and it uses the OEM seat pan, so it should fit just fine (https://seatconcepts.com/collections/himalayan)...
